Armenian cuisine is as ancient as its history, as the land it is standing on. Armenian culinary traditions are over 2000 years old. The cuisine reflects the history and geography where Armenians have lived as well as incorporating outside influences. The cuisine also reflects the traditional crops and animals grown and raised in the areas populated by Armenians.
During our tour you’ll get acquainted with CUISINE of Armenian southern regions and will get acquainted with taste of Armenia.
Day 1 Welcome To Armenia
Arrivial-Transfer to hotel- Trip in Yerevan
After short rest we’ll make a trip in the heart of «Pink town» Yerevan. During the trip we’ll get acquainted with Cascade Complex, Opera House and The Republic Square. We’ll visit Megeryan Carpet: factory of carpets, where we’ll get acquainted with carpetmaking and will taste one of the national dishes- a Khapama.
Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 2 Khashlama
In the morning after breakfast we’ll visit roc k- cut monastery Geghard. Then we’ll participate in lavash making in Garni. We’ll taste Khashlama and vegetables made in tonir with apricot and mulberry vodka. As well as we’ll taste gata (Armenian national pastery) in a local’s house. After all we will visit Garni pagan temple and will return to Yerevan.
Day 3 Taste Of Armenian Traditional «Pasus Tolma»
Yerevan-Khor Virap- Noravanq — Areni
After breakfast we’ll move to Khor Virap, where we’ll be wondered by sceneary of Biblian Ararat mountain. Then we’ll visit Noravanq. Along the way we will stop in the market of “Vayots Dzori Hrashqner”, where you will have a chance to taste luscious goodies and recognize the taste of Armenian hospitality. From Noravanq we’ll move to the cradle of Armenian wine-making: the viliage of Areni, where we’ll taste Armenian wine assortment. After wine degustation we’ll taste one of the famous national dishes Pasus Tolma.

Day 4 Armenian National Soups
In the morning after rural breakfast made by organic foods we’ll move to Tatev monastery. There we’ll see the longest reversible aerial ropeway “Wings of Tatev”. In Tatev we’ll taste the goods of Syunik region, as well as “ Jingyalov Hats» made by local assortment of herbs. Then we will be in Khndzoresk and will end our tour in Goris, where we’ll taste Armenian soup of “Aveluk” and tanapour.

Day 5 Khash with Lavash
In the early morning we’ll taste Armenian traditional “Khash” and will move to SPA town Jermuk. In Jermuk we’ll visit the gallery of mineral waters, where you’ll have a chance to taste treatment mineral waters and enjoy the whole beauty of Armenian nature and clean air.
Overnight in Jermuk.
Day 6 Armenian Trout On The Banks Of «Pearls»
After breakfast we’ll leave Jermuk and will move to ghat of Selim. Then we will visit Hayravanq, Sevanavanq. We’ll taste dishes prepared of ishkhan (trout), sig, Sevan crayfish at Lake Sevan beach-side restaurant. After that we’ll return to Yerevan where we’ll have farewell dinner with master class of cooking lamb in tondoor.

Day 7 Departure Home
Breakfast-Transfer to airport
After breakfast we’ll visit a mart of Armenian fruits, sweets and dried foods. Then we’ll move to the airport with a great impression and memories of wonderful tasties.
