Feel Like An Armenian

During this tour to Armenia You can enjoy a variety of Armenian nature, to feel real Armenian hospitality and enjoy a variety of dishes of Armenian cuisine. You will get acquainted with the capital of Armenia – Yerevan. You will see the only surviving pre-Christian monuments and visit the beautiful temples, carved into the rock. Admire the Emerald Lake Sevan, where the taste of the world famous Sevan crayfish and no less famous Sevan trout. Visit to Khor Virap, situated at the foot of Mount Ararat and known by the fact that this is where Christianity was born in Armenia and we’ll visit Holy Echmiadzin. And of course, we’ll ride on the world’s longest ropeway to Tatev Monastery – one of the most beautiful and mysterious places in Armenia. You will take away with an unforgettable experience of the red rocks towering over the Noravank monastery, and home-made wines of Areni village.

Day 2 Armenian Stonehenge

Khor Virap-Noravank-Areni-Karahundj-Goris

Check-in located at the foot of Mount Ararat Khor Virap, which is known for the fact that here first Catholicos of All Armenians Gregory the Illuminator have spent many years in prison. 
Further our path lies to one of the most beautiful monasteries of Armenia – Noravank, surrounded by steep red cliffs.
After visiting the Noravank and its surroundings we’ll go to the village of Areni, which can be called wine – growing center of Armenia, where we’ll wait for a delicious lunch with locals.
After lunch, we’ll visit the cave, where not so long ago ancient jugs of wine and shoes have been discovered, which are about 6000 years old.
Next, we are waiting for an excursion to the wine producing factory where we’ll enjoy tasting different wines.
Next, we’ll go to the greenest city in Armenia, Goris. Along the way we’ll make a short stop in the village near the complex “Zorats Qarer” – Qarahunj or as it is called, the Armenian Stonehenge.
In the evening we’ll arrive to Goris.

Day 3 South of Armenia


After a delicious breakfast, we’ll go with you to the old village Khndzoresk. There we’ll walk on the suspension bridge across the gorge, as well as get acquainted with the ancient caves where 100 years ago people lived.Further our path will lie in the direction of, without a doubt, the most magical place in Armenia – Tatev village.
Our route will run along the world’s longest cable car, stretching over the Vorotan gorge. The maximum road height is 320 meters.
Once you learn all about the Tatev monastery and get a feeling of the soul of the local magical places, we know that you’ll go any further in this small country. Our path will be to Jermuk, known for its mineral waters, which we’ll certainly try. Also, we’ll see one and the most beautiful waterfalls in Armenia.

Next, we are waiting for lunch, and the road to Yerevan.

Day 4 Evidence of Paganism Era


Drive to Garni, which is the only surviving monument in Armenia belonging to the era of paganism and Hellenism.
Walk through the gorge, where you’ll see a small miracle of nature called “stone symphony”.
Next, you’ll take a direct part in baking the famous Armenian bread – lavash.
Departure to Geghard monastery complex – a unique architectural structure, part of which is carved into the rock. The name of the monastery complex comes from the name of the spear that pierced the body of Jesus Christ on the Cross, and, according to historical sources, the spear was brought to Armenia by Apostle Thaddeus, among many other relics. Dinner. And in Yerevan You will have a nice addition – Excursion to Yerevan Brandy Factory and Museum of Ancient Manuscripts.

Day 5 Armenian Switzerland

We’ll go to one of the greenest cities of Armenia – Dilijan famous resort.
After a walk around Dilijan reserve, we will pass through the beech forest to the beautiful monastery complex XI-XIII centuries – Haghartsin. This gem of a canyon, one of the most mysterious places in Armenia, surrounded by greenery of the mountain forests.
After lunch we’ll go with you to Lake Sevan – the largest alpine lake in the world. Here we’ll admire the turquoise waters of Lake Sevan, located on a peninsula, explore the ancient monastery and, of course, taste the delicious crayfish Sevan.

Day 6 Christian Tale


Breakfast and departure to the religious center of Armenia – the city of Echmiadzin, where the Cathedral – the residence of the Catholicos of All Armenians, as well as the ancient temples of the Holy Hripsime and Gayane are situated.
On the way back we’ll stop at the ruins of the ancient temple of Zvartnots, which was destroyed by a strong earthquake at the end of the last millennium.
At the end of the program we’ll take you to the airport to meet again in the future and to organize another fascinating journey through our small, but rich in beautiful and interesting places country.

Day 7 Departure
