Teghenyats Mountain Range is the south-eastern branch of Tsaghkunyats Mountain Range in Kotayk Region. The length is 20 km, the highest peak is Mounth Teghenis (2851m). There are reserves of marble, slate, mineral waters. The climate is temperate, annual precipitation is 600-800 mm. It has mountain steppe landscape, in the high areas it has mountain-meadow landscape, there are forests of oak and hornbeam on the eastern slopes (2300 m).
We start hiking from the village Boujakan. After a little rest on the top of Teghenis, we continue the way to Tsaghkunyats Lake , then we go down to Aghveran.
