Doshab — boiled, concentrated fruit juice. It is made from grape, apricot or mulberry juice without adding sugar . Has a consistency of thick sauce. It is used as a seasoning for salads and meat dishes, as a semi-finished product for making desserts, halva, shorot, churchkhela, sudzhuk. It is also used for medicinal purposes. This miracle drink appeared in Armenia so long ago that it is already impossible to recall the history of its occurrence. Armenians like to boast, they say, our Doshab before the invention of penicillin coped perfectly. Doshab cleanses the liver and blood, improves mental activity.
